Leadership
Triunfo Partners was founded by Evan Pondel, IRC, who began his career as a business journalist working for publications, including The Wall Street Journal and Los Angeles Daily News, in addition to correspondent work for The Christian Science Monitor and Reuters.
Prior to Triunfo, Evan served as president of PondelWilkinson, a venerable investor relations and strategic public relations firm based in Los Angeles. During his 14 years at the firm, Evan led IR and PR programs for high-profile companies, organizations, academic institutions and individuals.
Evan is a storyteller at heart who enjoys helping people craft authentic narratives that resonate with key audiences. He is also experienced incorporating data-driven media assets into Triunfo's programs, a unique skillset that his firm leverages to reach specific audiences across multiple channels.
Evan is a holder of the Investor Relations Charter (IRC) and sits on the editorial advisory board for IR Update, a magazine published by the National Investor Relations Institute. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California, has three children, and loves to surf big and small waves.
Evan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and his Master of Arts degree in specialized journalism from the University of Southern California.
